First Putnam Sheriff Town Hall Of Year Scheduled

The first Putnam County Sheriff’s Office Town Hall of 2019 has been scheduled for Thursday, April 25 at the Kent Volunteer Fire House.

The “informal evening of questions and discussion” is intended to allow for the addressing of concerns throughout the community regarding the services and responses provided by the Sheriff’s Department itself.

The meeting will include feedback from Sheriff Robert L. Langley, Jr. as well as Undersheriff Michael F. Corrigan. Also in attendance will be:

  • Captain James G. Babcock, Jr. (Operations)
  • Captain Kevin M. Cherverko (Corrections)
  • Captain Jon T. Jennings (Bureau of Criminal Investigations)
  • Captain Lisa Ortolano, Esq. (Civil)
  • Captain Harry J. Tompkins III (Patrol)
  • Lieutenant Sheila Hanley (Corrections) 
  • Lieutenant Kevin McManus (Patrol/ERT)
